Limassol
We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Junior Lawyer to join our expanding team of professionals based in Limassol.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
· Support in research and drafting of legal opinions on financial, banking, civil, administrative, labor and tax law issues of Cyprus and EU.
· Development of regulations, instructions, statutory documents etc.
· Preparation, review, drafting and execution of various documents including: agreements, contracts, minutes, resolutions, instruments of transfer, share certificates, incumbency certificates, Powers of Attorney etc.
· Following and Complying with KYC and AML procedures according to the applicable laws.
· Liaising with service providers, authorities and various external parties as may be requested from time to time.
· Preparation of application forms for the Registrar of Companies in Cyprus or other jurisdictions.
· Support with incorporating companies in Cyprus and abroad.
· Document flow including dispatch of documents via international/local couriers.
· Collect and check that all necessary documents are correct and appropriately signed.
· Assisting with certification, apostil and legalization of documents.
· Perform any other duty as required by the Legal Manager and legal team.
Key Skills/Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Law
· Previous work experience is welcome, but not a must.
· Excellent command of the English and Greek languages, both in written and oral (Russian language would be an advantage).
· Excellent knowledge of how the EU and Cyprus legal systems work.
· Computer literate using legal databases, MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.
· Ability to handle data and information in a highly confidential environment.
· Excellent communication, inter-personal skills and good team player.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Excellent organization, administration and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently through own initiative as well as being an effective member of a team.
· Highly ethical and trustworthy individual.
