Responsibilities:
Essentially work with the product manager and find areas of improvement on product functionalities and services. In collaboration with the Product Manager, the Product Analyst will be responsible of collecting quantitative product data and metrics, synthesizing product research, gathering requirements, and assist with product roadmap.
Key daily tasks include:
- Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience
- Work closely with the development and product teams to both analyze existing features and ensure successful implementation of new features.
- Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps
- Prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines
- Monitor and report on users’ behavior after launching new features/updates.
- Analyze competition
- Initiate, suggest major UI re-factorings for a more intuitive UX
- Analyzing traffic sources, metrics, and patterns on all web properties.
- Optimize site/page performance to increase conversions
- Report on the progress of conversion optimization on a weekly and monthly basis through the delivery of key performance indicator reports and conversion test logs.
- Leverage data to understand product in great detail, identify areas of opportunity and execute projects to drive growth and engagement of users.
- Act as the user-advocate, offering implementation suggestions from a user-centered perspective.
- Creating prototypes and designing user interface (UI) mock-ups and workflows to demonstrate functionality and User Experience
- Documenting requirements by creating JIRA EPICs and Confluence pages, setting due dates and distributing work across engineering.
- Testing marketing messages, product descriptions, calls-to-actions, banners, page layouts, page designs and page flows (A/B Test).
Your qualifications for this position:
- Detail oriented and organized. Able to transmute various, conflicting inputs into a focused narrative that engineering can drive and deliver.
- Data-driven performance optimization methodologies
- Highly analytical and experienced in running A/B, Multi variant and usability tests
- Conversion testing, landing page optimization
- Data analysis and reporting tools
- Experience in web analytics : Google Analytics
- Proficiency in user experience best practices
- Fluent in English language
- Passion for usability and a strong eye for visual consistency.
- In depth knowledge of user interface best practices and standards.
- Experience working with JIRA is preferred but not required.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with equivalent combination of education and experience
- Engineering degree or work experience preferred
