Job Description

This company is providing management services to international real estate developers focusing on the UK market and they have their financial headquarters in Nicosia old town. They provide all back-office services for bookkeeping, accounting, financial control, banking activities, HR, payroll, finance and funding consulting, overheads management and company secretarial to a wide range of clients based in Cyprus, BVI and UK. The company is looking for a Back-Office Officer who has relevant working experience at a bank. They need somebody who can manage their funding requirements and ensure that they comply to the covenants through regular testing.

Responsibilities:

Assist with completing and submitting bank mandates

Collecting, organising and dispatching KYC and due diligence documents

Follow up on progress and further requirements from bankers for new loans, new accounts, etc

Liaise with agents in Cyprus, BVI, IoM and UK for obtaining company secretarial information for the bank applications

On the compliance side:

Read, analyse loans and produce schedule of compliance to covenants.

Report on compliance through auditing the loan positions

Produce schedule of remedial actions for non-compliance

Produce schedule of non-compliance reports

On reporting side:

Issue funding notices - demands issued to partners detailing funding required, and ensuring that funds are received 

Arrange for drawdowns from banks through signoff and completion of Conditions Precedents lists

Arrange for extension of loans that approach maturity

Requirements:

Excellent English and communications skills

Greek language skills would be an advantage

Relevant working experience in back office within a bank is a must

Knowledge about compliance

Working experience in the UK would be a plus

The working hours are 9:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, with an hour lunch break.
