Our client is a leading international software development company with their European headquarters based in Larnaca.
We are seeking to recruit an IT professional with specific experience in Amazon Web Services and Virtualization to join their expanding team.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and setup of corporate IT infrastructure locally and cross-offices (emails, domains, ticketing systems, file storages, security management, networking, etc.)
- Maintain and setup local server environments for the engineering department needs
- Maintain and setup Cloud-based and Virtual environments for the engineering department needs
- Maintain and setup of personal desktops/laptops and other required equipment
- Maintain equipment/licenses inventory & manage equipment/licenses requests
- Maintain employees’ admission and discharge processes
- 24/7 IT support calls handling on the corporate infrastructure issues
Required Qualification:
- 4-6 years in a system administration or related role (including cloud-computing and virtual environments maintenance)
- Proficiency IT infrastructure design, setup and monitoring (Atlassian products, SVN, VMWare and other virtualization tools, AWS)
- Proficiency in the security management – corporate network, antivirus, software download and security policies
- Proficiency in storing/hosting management – shared directories, access to data, backups and recovery policies
- Proficiency installing and administering mainstream operating systems
- Strong background of Security, Encryption, Certificates, HTTPS, (E)LB
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required)
- Strong background of scripting administrative task experience
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- Relevant education and professional certificates confirming qualification is very welcomed
