Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the overall responsibility of the community nursing / palliative care function of the organisation and will report to the General Manager.
Main responsibilities include:

Lead, plan and coordinate all the activities of the function and ensure the smooth operation of services

Monitor and evaluate the program and services under his/her supervision, prepare relevant reports and make recommendations for improvements and development of new programs
-
Prepare protocols and manuals about the operations the function and re-assess and update them on an annual basis
-
Cooperate with the Area Managers and Coordinators to ensure the efficient delivery of services
-
Attend seminars, workshops, events and meetings in Cyprus and abroad as required
-
Communicate closely with local authorities, health services and other organisations as required
-
Mentor, develop and assess the employees of the function
Profile of the ideal candidate
-
BSc in Nursing. MSc in Nursing will be considered an advantage
-
Registered as a General Nurse
-
At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a health services organisation
-
Experience in community nursing and/or palliative care will be considered a strong advantage
-
Excellent managerial and organisational skills
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Dynamic with an ability to take initiative
-
Computer literate
-
Very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage
