Our client, a CySEC regulated Private Equity Firm in Limassol is looking to hire an Executive Assistant
the Head of Business Development.
Responsibilities:
The primary focus of the Executive Assistant is the management of the Head of Business
Development's time and concentration. The Head of Business Development is one of the
Partners and one of the senior-most member of the comapny, which requires
involvement in and oversight of all aspects of the company's corporate, commercial and
cultural development.
Management of time by the Executive Assistant requires constant and consistent oversight of the Head of Business Development's calendar and commitment schedule.
Management of concentration requires the Executive Assistant to acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the Head of Business Development's multiple duties, tasks and activities (both professional and personal). The successful Executive Assistant must coordinate these two management duties (the Head of Business Development's Time & Concentration) in concert and orchestrate those conditions most conducive to the Head of Business Development's success.
The Executive Assistant to the Head of Business Development is a public facing role requiring the demonstration of confidence and competence when communicating by voice, in written correspondence and face-to-face with a multi-national collection of persons at all levels of seniority.
In support of these efforts, the Executive Assistant shall have extensive authority over the Head of Business Development's professional and personal time. Such authority will include access to the Head of Business Development's professional and personal information and intermediary control over if, when and where persons from inside and outside of the company meet, speak or correspond with the Head of Business Development.
As a consequence, the Executive Assistant to the Head of Business Development must adhere to the highest levels of professional and personal discretion in the protection of information and maintain, at all times, the trust and confidence of the Head of Business Development.
Ancillary Duties:
In addition to fulfilling the responsibilities outlined above, the Executive Assistant will be required to
attend some meetings for the purpose of recording relevant details and the management of meeting
agenda. On occasion, the Executive Assistant may attend meetings or other functions in the absence of,
or in substitution for the Head of Business Development. On rare occasions, the Executive Assistant may
attend to and accompany the Head of Business Development family members and/or personal guests at
times when the Head of Business Development is faced with competing professional obligations.
As a direct representative of the Head of Business Development, the Executive Assistant is expected to cultivate and maintain a professional persona designed to elicit a positive reflection of the Company generally and the Head of Business Development in particular. Such persona must adopt a particular emphasis on professional dress and appearance, verbal communication and written correspondence.
Skills:
Fluent Russian and English speaker, both on a very high business level. Greek skills are a big plus.
The Executive Assistant to the Head of Business Development must be educated to at least the Bachelor Degree level or have sufficient, directly applicable experience demonstrating an equivalent level of intellectual development.
Demonstrable administrative, time-management and inter-personal skills developed from experience in
similar positions.
The cultivation of personal appearance demonstrating consistently and inherently high levels of self-confidence and professional competence are critical to success in this role.
Of equal importance is an intangible characteristic that enables the development and maintenance of trust-based relationships between and among both the Company's personnel and non-company's personalities.
A combination of fluent Russian and strong English language presentation skills, both written and verbal, are essential to this position. Proficiency in Greek, while not a pre-requisite, will be a consideration.
