Our client, a Digital Agency in Nicosia, is looking to hire an Android Developer
Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
Deliver across the entire application life cycle, including concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support of mobile applications
Work with outside data sources and API's
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
Skills:
BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or a related subject
Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Experience with Java and Android Studio IDE
Experience with the Android SDK
Proven Android development experience
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON / XML
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Knowledge of User Interface design principles
Good working knowledge of relational DBMS and SQL
Good knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to finish tasks on given deadlines
Fluent in English
Team player
Desired Skills And Experience:
Experience with Kotlin
Have published at least one Android application on Google Play
Familiarity with other major mobile platforms (iOS, Windows)
Familiarity with Python and the Django framework
Familiarity with Unity
Familiarity with React Native
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Ajax
Fluent in Greek
The working hours are Monday - Friday from 9am till 6pm
The salary is dependent on experience plus bonus based on performance, medical insurance and gym subscription
