On behalf of our client, a CYSEC Regulated Financial Services firm with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit for the position of Compliance Officer.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· Ensure that internal compliance procedures are in line with CYSEC’s guidelines by developing initiating, maintaining, and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
· Manage the compliance department and ensure that the team receives adequate training to successfully manage internal compliance procedures.
· Prepare/Review and promptly submit online to CYSEC all compliance mandatory reports.
· Follow CYSEC’s circulars and develop and periodically review and update Standards of Conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to employees.
Requirements:
· University Degree in Law or Finance or Economics
· Previous experience in the position of a Compliance Officer in a CYSEC regulated company is a must
· Excellent managerial skills a must
· Fluent in English, Greek an advantage and other languages as well
· Very well organized with attention to detail
· Very well developed communicating skills
