CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a highly innovative and expanding provider of technology solutions on an International scale, we are seeking to recruit a bright and ambitious Junior Software Developer to be based in Nicosia.
Role Overview:
You will be actively involved with the development of the software products and may also engage in the delivery of customer projects. Some of the products are mature while some are new, or under development. You will be supervised by the development lead but encouraged to bring new ideas for consideration and use your creativity to add new features or improve current features. All of our clients’ projects are cloud based frameworks serving customers 24/7 handling transactions worth millions every month or enabling certain services for consumers, retailers or suppliers. You will be given full training of the business and technical aspects as soon as you join!
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level in Computer Science/Engineering
- 0-3 years of relevant development experience, ideally working with JAVA
- Knowledge/experience of working with C, PHP and Javascript will be considered a significant advantage.
- An understanding of web-app programming concepts, iOS or Android development or experience using Git and Maven also considered an advantage.
- Excellent level of fluency in English (Written & Spoken) is essential.
- A passion for developing bug-free, best-in-class software.
