Cyprometal, a leading Steel Structure company in Nicosia, Cyprus, seeks to employ a Graduate Steel Detailer. You will be working on Steel Structural Engineering Projects using Tekla Structures BIM Software.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of shop and erection drawings based on architectural and structural drawings using Tekla Structures (BIM software)
• Liaising with clients, design teams (civil engineers) and contractors
• Manage change requests and communicate appropriately
• Interpretation of technical drawings and specifications
• Assist in resolving fabrication and site installation issues
• Meeting deadlines, technical specifications and quality requirements
• Effective planning and scheduling of work progress
• Visiting sites during the Construction phase to monitor progress
• 2.1 MEng Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent • Good understanding of Architectural and Structural Drawings
• Ability to work well in a team environment and "get things done" within tight time frames
• Able to identify issues problems and opportunities
• Ability to handle complex steel structures and develop appropriate solutions
• Sound verbal and written communication skills
• Sense of urgency, and focus on time management
• Ability to multi-task and plan ahead • Knowledge of AutoCAD Software • Self-motivated, positive, enthusiastic personality and passionate about this type of job
