Our client, a well-established investment firm based in Limassol, is looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer.

The remuneration package is a very attractive one and additional benefits will be offered.

Job Responsibilities The successful candidate will work within a small team that follows strict agile software development processes (a combination of Scrum, eXtreme Programming and Kanban methodologies) and invests in best engineering practices such as continuous integration, automated deployment, etc. The Senior Front-end Developer will be  responsible for developing sophisticated web-based applications. He/She will be working closely with business analysts, designers, QA and software engineers from the backend-team. This role is mainly about new product development (develop a Single Page Web Application using leading-edge web technologies).

Required Qualifications

Requirements

  • Expert in JavaScript (ES6), CSS3, HTML5;
  • Experience with React or Angular frameworks;
  • Deep understanding of OOP/OOD/S.O.L.I.D principles;
  • Client-side design patterns;
  • Experience with Git/Mercurial version control software;
  • Full professional proficiency in English.

The below will be considered an advantage:

  • Typescript;
  • Hands-on Agile Software Development approach;
  • ReactiveX;
  • Experience with Websockets, Canvas, Svg, IndexedDB;
  • Experience with charting applications;
  • Experience with real-time web-applications;
  • Experience with testing methodologies (unit tests, integration tests, mocks, etc);Webpack, Gulp;Less, Sass;
  • Russian and Greek languages as a plus;
  • Experience with financial markets and trading applications.
