Role Overview:
On behalf of our client, we are looking to hire a Senior HW QA Engineer responsible for offering assistance in deploying and maintaining our telecommunications solutions. As a Senior QA HW Engineer the candidate will develop, implement and execute test cases to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality.
Issues that are found during testing are to be reported to relevant departments and followed up to ensure all issues are fixed in a timely manner. The candidate will offer support to the different departments to assist in the resolution of issues (e.g. providing test logs and scenarios).
Key Skills/Experience:
- Computer engineering/Computer Science/Telecommunications degree/ Electrical engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in a HW QA role.
- Excellent oral and verbal skills in English.
- Strong communication skills, written, oral and inter-personal.
- Scripting language experience (e.g. python).
- Demonstrated ability to devise testing procedures and lead other HW QA engineers.
- Be able to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of production.
- Highly motivated self-starter with an insatiable desire to learn new things.
- Consistent ability to deliver on time and work under pressure.
- Flexible, motivated, with ability to work in demanding environments and invest time and effort to provide best responses for immediate and dynamic projects.
- Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
