Our client is a leading international CySec Licensed Forex Trading Company with offices in a number of locations worldwide. They are looking to hire a Senior Graphic Designer for their offices in Shanghai who will work as part of the marketing team in China, as well as work closely with the team in Cyprus, to ensure cohesive branding globally. He or she will prepare and oversee the creation, production and timely delivery of all creatives with a key focus on optimizing the brand throughout.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, adapting and alter creatives for brand, campaign and promotion purposes
- Ensuring that the layout of the content is accessible and logical on an ongoing basis and complying to company regulations with regards to legal and compliance
- Working with a wide range of media, including online and offline design, resizing and translation adaptation (such as mobile, display banners, print, booth, landing page, Outdoor, etc.)
- Leading all brand and creative direction in China
- Ensuring best practice branding from external agencies, designers, printers, copywriters, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists
- Working with design briefs to understand the desired creative required. Working with employees to gather the right information to ensure optimal delivery
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and brainstorming with the Chinese team and Marketing HQ on new initiatives
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc.
- Acting as part of the Marketing team as brand keeper to support all organizations marketing activities - internally and externally
- Presenting finalized ideas and concepts
- Ensuring that all development conforms to universally recognized web standard
Skill Set Required:
- Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Communications or other related field
- Native Chinese, Fluent in English, additional language advantageous
- At least four years of experience in a related capacity with focus on online and offline brand execution (B2C and B2B). Similar experience in creative agencies or as an in-house designer is preferred
- Experience with working with Chinese and international brands
- Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suit (Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, Flash)
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premier / Final Cut Pro, HTML5 and CSS is considered as an advantage
- Knowledge and ability of photography, video-recording and editing will be considered as an advantage
- Good presentation skills
- Good ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Strong understanding of how brands work in different markets and a strong execution in how to apply this
