Our Client is an independent, international tax advisory and corporate services firm with head offices located in Nicosia, Cyprus.
We are searching for a motivated individual to assume the role of "Semi-Senior Accountant" in their Accounting Department in Nicosia.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Assist in recording of book-keeping transactions and preparation of financial statements
- Assist in preparation and review of VAT returns
- Perform specific accounting procedures
- On-the-job training and supervision of trainee accountants
- Provide assistance to other team accountants as requested
- Assist in special studies and projects as maybe assigned.
About you: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (at least 2:1) - ACCA partly qualified - At least 1-3 years relevant experience - Fluent oral and written English - Russian language considered an advantage
