Limassol
Our client, an International Forex Company, is now looking to recruit a Database Programmer for their offices in Limassol.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintain existing SQL Server 2012 databases: implement maintenance and backup plans, troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, optimize tables, indexes and stored procedures.
- Cooperate with software developers in design & implementation of new functionality (being solely responsible for development of database part of solution - tables, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, etc)
- Documentation of existing and future databases
- Providing support to other developers and database users
Competitive salary depending on experience and skills. 13th salary after completion of 12 months with the company, medical insurance after completion of 12 months with the company, provident fund after completion of 12 months with the company
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a similar position
- Graduate with a degree in Computer Science or any related field
- Experienced in database design & maintenance
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
- Experienced and confident in TSQL; knowledge of the following would also be considered a plus: C++, C#, UML tools
- Service minded, stress resistant, organized, solution oriented, analytical skills
- Ability to work with people with varying levels of computer knowledge
- Team-player as well as being able to work independently with minimum supervision
