Our client, a growing IT Company based in Nicosia, is looking for a Pre-sales Consultant. The Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for supporting the sales team with the technical and operational detail of the Company's product range. Duties will include preparing proposals and liaising with customers and vendors to define requirements and solutions. The Pre-Sales Consultants will be a customer orientated individual with the ability to make technical presentations and the ability to advise on all aspects of the Company's solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Discussing and identifying customer requirements, researching solutions, preparing equipment and software configurations and providing detailed technical input to project proposals and quotations
- Creating and coordinating proposals and responses to RFP's and public tenders
- Serving a single point of contract for all presales-related issues
- Making technical and solutions presentations to customers
- Making and co-coordinating product demonstrations to customers
- Studying for and obtaining relevant Vendor qualifications (eg Microsoft, Cisco and HP)
- Gaining and maintaining knowledge of the Company's product and solution offerings
- Gaining and Maintaining knowledge of the Company's vendor's offerings, methodologies, procedures, strategies and cultures
- Supporting trade shows and customer seminars
- Carries out any other relevant duties to his/her position that may be assigned by the Company from time to time
Skills
- At least 2 years experience in IT systems
- Particularly useful is in depth knowledge of the systems used in Finance, Utilities and Government
- Fluency in Greek and English both verbal and written in high level
- University Degree in Information Technology or similar subject in Engineering
- Microsoft, HP or Cisco certifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Consultative approach
