On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit an Accounting Officer.
The successful candidate will be expected to work at their Head Office in Nicosia, Cyprus
Responsibilities:
- Record book-keeping transactions and prepare financial statements
- Review of daily transactions in accordance with the firm’s standards
- Prepare management accounts
- Perform specific accounting procedures
- Provide assistance to other team accountants as requested
- Assist in special studies and projects as may be assigned
- Bachelors or Masters degree (preferably Finance, Accounting)
- Studying for ACA/ACCA qualification will be considered an advantage
- 2-3 years of relevant working experience in an Accounting environment
- Fluency in English (Russian will be considered an advantage)
- Strong ability to manage and facilitate projects
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent in Microsoft Office/ Proficiency in MS excel (sort, pivot tables)
- Preparation of financial statements in Caseware will be considered an advantage
