CareerFinders, on behalf of our client a global technology provider, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their established team in Nicosia. Role Overview:
The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for all aspects of a software project life cycle including requirements gathering & analysis, design, coding, unit testing, implementation, and maintenance of the code.
The successful candidate will assist in defining complex technical requirements for on-going infrastructure platform maintenance and actively interface with technical and/or functional teams to ensure proper integration of business processes.
The Software Developer will be further responsible for root cause analysis and providing solutions for production and development issues relating to infrastructure platforms.
Key Skills/Experience:
- 4+ years of proven working experience of ASP.Net, VB.Net, Java
- Very good knowledge and experience of AJAX, Javascript, and JQuery
- Very good knowledge and experience of HTML and CSS
- Good knowledge and experience in Design, Development and Support of Drools Rule Engine, BRMS Rule Editor and /or Oracle Database components
- Proven experience in Fraud detection business, good knowledge of common Fraud detection patterns and best practices relating to the Payment Card industry will be considered an advantage
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills - ability to gather and analyse information and draw logical conclusions while identifying the root cause of problems and providing options for resolution
- Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in writing
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field
