Job Description
Experienced Data Analyst with the ability to model data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for analyzing data using statistical tools, integrating with various 3rd party financial systems and developing new methods as needed.
Required Qualifications
Our client looking for a strong team-player with excellent communication and statistical skills. The successful candidate will preferably have previous experience within the FX industry or Financial Services in a similar role.
Analytical Skills: Ability to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. Ability to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
Critical Thinking: Ability to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
Attention to Detail: Data is precise. Vigilant in analysis to come to correct conclusions.
Strong Analysis Skills: Ability to estimate numerical data.
Ability to present data in charts, graphs, tables, designing and developing relational databases for collecting data and building or designing data input or data collection screens.
Ability to write Data Definition Language or Data Manipulation Language SQL commands, be responsible for improving data quality and for designing or presenting conclusions gained from analyzing data using statistical tools like Microsoft Excel, Power View, Power BI and others.
Strong T-SQL (Transact SQL) Stored Procedures, Views
Strong Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Server particularly tabular modeling
Strong Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power View
Strong Microsoft SQL Server 2012-2014 including (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
Demonstrable project implementation experience, working as part of a wider team of technology specialists.
B.Sc. in Technology, Statistics or business-related field.
