Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who seeks a position in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and will have the overall responsibility of the Finance function of the Group. Main responsibilities include:
• Ensure the smooth operation of the Finance function of the Group
• Design financial strategies and ensure business objectives are met
• Prepare financial statements, management accounts and other reports in a complete, accurate and timely manner
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and cash flows
• Handle VAT and Tax issues
• Liaise with external associates
• Provide top management with adequate financial information
Profile of the ideal candidate
• Member of a Professional Accounting Body (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
• At least 3 years post qualification experience. Experience in a similar position in the industry is a must.
• Dynamic with a strong drive for results and attention to detail
• Hands on, energetic and excellent team player
• Strong business and commercial awareness
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel within the island
• Fluent in Greek and English
