Job Description
On behalf of client, an offshore (UK) Corporate Services firm, we are seeking to recruit for a Head Accountant/ Financial Controller.
Description:
As the company mainly deals with the UK, you will be responsible to overlook and provide instructions on deadlines and correspondence relevant to the HMRC and Companies House in the UK.
Deal with the day to day accounting functions of the firm and provide instructions to the accounting department.
Ensure that all accounting relevant with the local activities is up to date and that all submission deadlines have being met.
Assess on the need to render for external advice on complicated TAX issues.
Liaise with the banks and auditors.
Report directly to the Directors who are mainly based overseas.
Requirements:
ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 6 years of experience preferably in a Corporate Services or an Accounting Department of an Audit/Accounting firm.
Fluent in Greek and English. (Your English must be developed at a professional level)
Excellent communicator with great attention to detail.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and to work well under pressure.
Excellent reporting skills.
