Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a Corporate Services Provider in Limassol, is seeking to recruit an Accountant;
Responsibilities:
Posting of transactions on a daily basis
Preparation of draft accounts
Completion of VAT Returns and other tasks related to the Accounting Department
Communication with clients, professional advisers (e.g. auditors) and local authorities
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in an accounting department dealing with a computerised accounting system with multicurrency transactions in the corporate/fiduciary sector
Holder of an LCCI Higher Certificate and/or College/University Degree in Accounting and/or a CAT/AAT Qualification
Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
Very good command of English Language
Experience in completing VAT Returns, Income Tax Returns and other statutory documents related to the Accounting Department
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to take initiative coupled with strong results orientation
