Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who seeks a position in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and will have the overall responsibility of the financial planning and control of the Group. Main responsibilities include:
• Ensure the smooth operation of the Finance function of the Group
• Ensure that financial information is presented to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis in a complete and accurate manner
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and cash flows
• Prepare Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheets on a monthly basis
• Ensure that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
• Handle VAT and Tax issues
• Liaise with external associates such as auditors, banks, suppliers, etc.
• Manage and develop an established accounting team
Profile of the ideal candidate
The successful candidate should meet the following profile requirements:
• Member of a Professional Accounting Body (ACA, ACCA, CPA)
• At least 5 years post qualification experience. Experience in the industry in a similar position is a must
• Dynamic, hands on and results driven with high levels of energy
• Strong business and commercial awareness
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
• Fluent in Greek and English
