About the Job
Description
Perform periodically reconciliations of funds transfers (in/out) in accordance with CySEC and FCA requirements.
Report to management and investigate exceptions. Work together with internal and external functions to correct any exceptions found.
As part of the finance team the Financial Analyst will assist on different bookkeeping and treasury tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Develop process to reconcile financial transactions on a daily, monthly and yearly basis, by comparison of transaction reports (internal and external); define reconciliation policies and procedures.
• Identify any mismatches and separate them into different categories
• Work together with internal functions and external references in order to correct any mismatches found
• Implement automatic systems for transaction reconciliations and reporting
• On-going specific duties, as shall be defined by the Financial Controller
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related assignments as needed.
• Other general bookkeeping and treasure tasks.
Requirements:
• Excel experience, including formulas and formatting
• I.T. oriented
• Experience of 3 -4 years in Accounting/ Finance.
• Experience from Big Four Audit Firms – big advantage
• Experience with financial companies- advantage
• Experience with Back office systems- advantage
• English read, write and speak- mother tongue level, Greek- Advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
