Senior SQL Developer
Job Description
The Senior SQL Developer, who will be reporting to the Chief Information Officer, will be responsible for:
• Delivering several advanced and complex SQL related projects
• Responding, investigating and resolving various incidents related to many systems as and when needed
• Conducting industry research and providing recommendations for emerging trends.
• Working on multiple simultaneous projects and deliver on a dynamic set of objectives and requirements, as part of a team of specialists
Desired Skills & Experience
• 6 years’ hands-on experience on T-SQL enterprise development and complex queries.
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise Business Intelligence, data analysis and complex T-SQL queries.
• Strong Knowledge and hands-on enterprise experience with creation, administration and management of Relational database management system (RDMS).
• Strong Knowledge and hand’s on experience with MSSQL 2005/2008/2012.
• .NET Framework and LINQ programming knowledge will be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience within the FX industry or Financial Services on a similar IT field as above, will be considered a strong advantage.
• Demonstrable project implementation experience, working as part of a wider team of technology specialists
Qualifications
• B.Sc - in Technology or business-related field
