Job Description
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and confidentiality
Oversee the efforts of multiple client engagements
Understand, manage firm risk on audits and proposals
Manager, develop, train and mentor staff members on projects and assess performance for engagements and year end reviews
Review all work (audit/taxation/accounting/financial reporting/compliance) before submission to Audit/Taxation/Consulting Director for further review
Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively
Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business improvement and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to client
Work closely with Directors, Senior Managers, and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development
Work with other Managers within the Audit/Tax Department and within the Financial Department to help ensure the proper deployment of the audit/financial/taxation staff
Play a key role in the future business generation and continued development of the client base within industry groups and identify future client needs and new business opportunities
Maintain strong client relations and cross-sell services within the assigned group of clients
Recruit and retain supervisors/senior auditors and trainees
Coach staff and motivate others to accept new ideas, practices, or action and achieve goals and objectives for performance and professional development
Develop in association with the Human Resource Department training programs that will assist in the professional development and training of staff (including himself/herself) on the job and through structured seminars
Able to perform client and staff presentations
Manage client accounts, including billing, fee analysis and collection
Able to attend client meetings at any time (within and outside office hours) and available to travel in Cyprus and abroad for client meeting and/or client development
Able to attend social and business events in order to promote the company’s business and reputation
Perform other job-related duties as necessary
Required Qualifications
ACA/ACCA qualified member with at least 5 years experience post qualification within an audit firm
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Outstanding experience in staff and audit management in an integrated client service team to provide overall solutions in financial reporting. Accounting, taxation etc
Ability to identify VAT and taxation risks for the company and be able to advice the client on tax and VAT compliance requirements
Demonstrate in practice skills that enable practice development, business development, and managing and coordinating supervisors and staff
Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
Excellent report writing skills
Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Computer expertise including knowledge of preparation software and an understanding of the impact of technology
Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites in Cyprus and abroad
