On behalf of our client a very well-known and established restaurant in the Center of Limassol we are seeking to recruit a
Sous Chef
Summary of responsibilities
To be responsible for all operational aspects of the Food & Beverage side of the business for the efficient running of all Back of House departments. To reach and maintain the highest possible operational standards and to ensure good stock control and profitability of the business by meeting the agreed budgetary targets and business KPI’s.
Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities; estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food in coordination with F&B Manager.
Follow and develop selected recipes; follow standardized production recipes to ensure consistent quality; follow established presentation techniques and quality standards.
Follow recipes according to menu to stay within costing; ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen.
Requirements
Fluent in English
Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar role
A diploma from a recognized college in cookery and or culinary arts
Terms & Remuneration
Working 6 days a week. 8 – 9 hours per day.
Shifts vary.
Salary €1,200 NET per month
