CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a truly global and highly respected Information Technology company with large, regional offices in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Software Developer to join their expanding team of professionals based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will have a relevant academic background relating Information Technology and will ideally hold and previous and demonstrable software development experience. Recent Graduate are however encouraged to apply.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop code based on the specifications provided.
- Participate in code development by actively writing code and conducting unit testing.
- Supporting the QA processes.
- Work with development team to troubleshoot development environment, production environment, performance tune and optimize code.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to Degree level in Information Technology or related field.
- Ability to work from rudimentary requirements and specifications.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to design and develop large scale, complex applications.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge and experience in one (or more) of the following: C# .NET, Java.
- Knowledge and experience in one (or more) of the following will be considered as advantage: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
