Our client is a Fintech company with a difference, using innovative technology to develop the most easy-to-use and transparent financial trading platform on the market. They are currently looking for a Russian-speaking Complaints Officer to join their team in Limassol.
We are looking for a Complaints Officer capable of maintaining a safe and compliant environment for our platform and clients. Our newest team member will be responsible for overseeing the company's compliance programme, mitigating any regulatory risk and promoting strong compliance culture.
The Complaints Officer will work closely with legal and product teams to ensure effective compliance services in line with the company's growth. The ideal candidate will be professional, highly analytical, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. To prosper in this role, you should be fluent in risk management and our industry's principles.
Qualification
Experience in the forex (1-2 years), semi-senior compliance level.
Responsibilities
Receive, process and investigate complaints (all licenses)
Prepare a Client Complaint Report with all results of the investigation and a conclusion (templates will be provided by the Compliance Dept): the information should be sufficient to support the conclusion, i.e. if the complaint should be upheld/compensated/not upheld.
Communicate with clients regarding their complaints, keep clients up to date about the investigation process, send acknowledgment letters and final conclusion letters.
Keep registries and Asana complaints log up to date.
Prepare statistics and analyse root causes.
Requirements
English / Russian speaker (covers all our licenses)
Basic experience in trading (can understand the complaint without the response from Risk Department)
Experience with ESMA Regulations - specifically MiFID II
Knowledge of AML Directives
Good writing skills
Organised person (will be handling all complaints and relevant deadlines).
Nice to Have
CySEC advanced & AML certificates, or at least willing to obtain them.
