Limassol
Our client, a group of companies, engaged in the field of fintech, with a comfortable office in the city center in Limassol, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing foreign and local vendors including payments and posting invoices
Intercompany/Vendors/Clients reconciliations (including preparation of provisions)
Banks & Credit Cards reconciliations on a Semi-Weekly basis
Communicating efficiently with international accounting departments (located inside and outside the EU)
Ongoing reconciliation including closing entries and cut-off accounts
Reporting to tax authorities (preparation and submission of VAT reports, and statutory fillings) Experience with CySEC reporting - and advantage
Managing monthly expenses reports and travel reports
Keeping track on collections and following up with clients
Identifies/reviews and resolves invoicing issues
Collates and gathers required back up for payments
Requirements:
B.A. is desirable
Experience in similar positions for at least 4 years from High-Tech or CIF companies working in a multi-currency/multi-national environment - MUST
Experience working with offshore companies is a plus
Experience working with PSPs and Electronic Money Institutions is a plus
Fluent English (written and verbal) - a must, Native - an advantage
Sharp, fast and analytical
Hands-on approach, responsible and with great teamwork abilities
Hard working & experienced in a highly dynamic work environment
The working hours are 09:00 -18:00
Salary based on skills and experience.
