Our client is a Licensed Investment Firm regulated by the Cyprus Securities Exchange and they are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team based in Nicosia.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of the books and general ledgers of companies in the group
Reporting to the Bookkeeping Team Leader
Banks and vendors reconciliations
Update of working papers (Fixed Assets registers, prepayments lists, accruals list, payments list, etc.
Preparation of financial reports (Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, etc.) and other ad hoc required reports
Execution of administrative duties, including filing, printing, scanning, etc
Provision of assistance with banking and payment requirements as needed.
Requirements:
LCCI Higher / CAT/ University/ college graduate degree in Finance and/or Accounting or related field ACCA/ACA trainee
Must be able to perform data input activities quickly and accurately;
The candidate should have good organizational skills and should be able to work in a team, but also independently, depending on work assigned to them.
Competent with Microsoft Office;
Very good organizational skills;
Thorough with very good attention to detail;
Trustworthy with excellent communication skills;
Familiarity with SAP SBO accounting software will be considered as an advantage;
Fluency in English (speaking, reading and writing) is a must;
2-3 years of experience will be considered an advantage.
