Job Description

We are looking for a Web Designer/Developer who is motivated to combine the art of graphic design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of company’s websites. You will be responsible to work on graphical design and technical implementation in Wordpress, taking an active role on both sides and defining how a website looks as well as how it works.

Required Qualifications

Skills and experience:

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified graphic designer with experience of web design.

  • Preferably more than one year relevant experience

  • Software skills should include: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects (Video Editing).

  • Understanding of the concept/idea of how to achieve good User Experience.

  • You will need to have fundamental web design knowledge with an understanding of principles and application of web accessibility, navigation and usability.

  • Digital photography manipulating skills is essential, in particular special effect creation in Photoshop.

  • Basic knowledge of print production & preparing creative for prints.

  • A good understanding of brand design.

  • Proficient understanding of web markup HTML/CSS/MySQL/CMS/PHP (preferable)

  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that website will adhere to them

  • Ability understand and work in Wordpress

  • Good understanding of web hosting, email, and FTP setup, management, and use
